1. What is a Will?

A will is a document in which you outline what you would like to happen to your estate upon your death.  Your estate comprises of any assets that you own at the date of your death.  No matter how little you feel your estate is worth, it is important that you make a Will.  Your Will is your opportunity for you to confirm:

i) who you wish to appoint as Executor to your Will; and

ii) how you would like to have your funeral arranged; and

iii) whether you wish to provide to charity; and

iv) who you wish to give your personal items to; and

v) who you wish to act as Guardian for your children; and

vi) how you wish to provide for your children.

2. What happens if you don't make a Will?

If you don't make a Will then delays may be caused, along with unnecessary anxiety, for family members and loved ones.  If you died without leavign a Will then your estate shall be distributed acordingly to the laws of Intestacy and you shall have no say in the distribution of your estate.
